The Birth of Consciousness

The mind, no doubt, is a physical thing … But, is thought a thing?  Does thought require a medium to pass through and transmit itself?

Does thought require a mind at all to comprehend it?

Perhaps the matter of the mind does nothing but slow down the thought to redirect its initial trajectory…

Would a single thought feel remorse or joy if it had not time to reflect on itself?

The worst outcome is the black hole of failure, the best– at best, is the exploding supernova of a star that will eventually know surrender to ignorance.

Shall we move at all?  Or is stillness and stagnation not a festering wound but a slower movement toward realization of the absolute?
